Finally, the technical difficulties seem to be resolved, and we are happy to offer custom photo jewelry. Thanks to Anne and Sachi for discovering the technique and to Tom for suggesting we apply it to photos. I've gotten carried away making samples using pictures of Lily. We've already made a few as Mother's Day/new mother presents. The possibilities are endless: not only photos of children, also travel photographs, maybe some collages. And finally my dream of a charm bracelet with all "my" children can come to fruition.
If you'd like to commission a custom photo piece, you may email your photos to us as a jpeg file (Anthology@tds.net). The photo must be in the color that you want it (our software doesn't convert color to black & white or sepia). You do not have to crop or resize photos; we have software that will resize pictures. We may have to crop a bit to fit the charm so please indicate the "must-have" part of the photo.

Small square or circle charm $28 (approximately 3/4 inch)
Large square or circle charm $32 (approximately 1 inch)
(just a note: the squares are much easier to work with -- less of the picture usually gets cropped. Especially for pictures with multiple people, I'd recommend the square shape).
Some tips about selecting photos: the photos will be reduced quite a lot; people are more visible if their faces take up more of the picture in the first place. If more than one person is in the picture, try to find pictures where they are close together -- if they are spread out across the rectangle of the picture, it's tricky to get everyone in. Simply look at your picture and mentally crop it to a square to see if everything fits. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
