Those are nice bags! Perhaps you use one or two for your lunch bags, but perhaps you are like me and have a closet full, or always feel bad about putting them in the recycle bin. Either way, if you are ever on State Street in Madison, bring your bags to us. Anthology would love to accept more paper handled shopping bags to reuse! The size we need most is the smaller size in the 8 x 10 range though other sizes are welcome. It doesn't matter if they are plain or printed, what is important is the nice, handled structure. This means bags from Macy's, Marshall Field's, DSW shoe warehouse, you name it, all are welcome. Gift bags are fine too -- we are amassing a collection of Christmas gift bags for the holiday shoppers.
We have seen all the packaging material that is generated in the world of retail and are committed to doing what we can to reduce what we generate. All handled shopping bags are reused as our store bags; we simply attach our store information on a little tag. Thanks for your help!
